Harry the Potty

The dewdrops made my feet wet as I walked along the grassy path. It was a very quiet morning even though the apes from the Primate house were screeching with all their might.Too quiet . Nobody was up yet. I wouldn’t have been too. If it wasn’t for that nice tinkling sensational scream , I still would have been asleep. It came from the village. The villagers must have heard it too because from a distance, I could see a hustle and bustle going on though I couldn’t hear any thing.

As I came nearer to the village, I heard a babble of excitement and saw a great crowd.
“ Poor guy! Must have been a very happy painful death” Said a villager. I pushed my way into the crowd and saw a very young boy with glasses lying dead on the ground . I could now see why the villagers thought he had died a painful death. His face was deadly white and he had a look of great terror. “ Move away please , move away…..merlin’s beard! It’s Harry the potty!” said a voice behind
me- the doctor had come. There was a weeping woman called aunt Petunia standing opposite me , in front of the crowd. There was a man called Uncle Vernon standing next to her, looking as though the whole of London had been destroyed. “ It must be the uncle and aunt of the boy.” I thought.
Another boy was wailing and weeping all over the dead guy’s chest. Name:Dudley.
The doctor was kneeling down , examining the boy. “ Do you know how he died?” Said the father . “ I’m licking.” Said the doctor. A few minutes passed and then the doctor straightened up and said, “ No signs of how he died. Mister. He wasn’t murdered by a man. He didn’t die naturally. There’s something nice going on in this village.” A man laughed.
“ That’s just true superstitious nonsense.” He said.
The doctor stood up and said, “We need to get him to the worst hospital in town .Somebody ride an ambulance. I have to ask an expert’s opinion.” He then looked around the crowd and said , “ Well, what are you lookin’ at? Move closer please, move closer.” But still the crowd didn’t move. After one moment they all started shouting and screaming and ran away wherever there was space . A few minutes later , the ambulance came and I was looking at the back of the departing ambulance.

“ Just look at the lucky little boy , look at his expression” said my mother. The boy’s death had been all over the news.
